About us
Companion CBD was founded with a simple question: How can we create CBD-based products that stay true to the science and are loved by pets and their owners?

When the 2018 Farm Bill passed, interest in CBD surged, unlocking the therapeutic potential of CBD and other cannabinoids. We recognized early on that creating products based on solid research would provide pet owners and veterinarians with valuable tools for managing various conditions.

In our early clinical trials, CBD showed promise in supporting existing therapies for a range of conditions. We understood that flexibility in dosing was crucial, as one size does not fit all in veterinary medicine. Our experience as veterinarians using CBD in practice highlighted the need for formulations that are both palatable and easy to administer long-term.

Unlike many CBD products marketed as “cure-alls,” Companion CBD was founded to offer reliable, science-backed solutions. Our mission goes beyond selling products—we’re dedicated to improving pets’ lives and strengthening the bond they share with their owners.
